Stephen Ellis (Founder and Director of FEELn festival) and Leslie Loh (Head of One Gaia and Youth Development director at the FEELn festival) met with Secretario Lula Maciel in Bahia Brazil to discuss the FEELn festival.
Leslie Loh flew in from Jamaica where she had just set up another Youth development and community assistance program through her foundation One Gaia. One Gaia has programs in Hong Kong, The Philippines and Jamaica assisting and empowering thousands of children who are disadvantaged.
Now as part of the FEELn festival and head of Youth Development, One Gaia will be expanding its work through the FEELn festival to Brazil, Africa, India and elsewhere around the world.
The meeting in Brazil was to start the dialogue on how the FEELn festival could best help the local youth and community in cities like Lauro de Freitas, Bahia, Brazil. The aim of the FEELn festival is to set up programs for the youth to learn, engage, and go forward.
Leslie Loh and other members of the FEELn festival team are set to return to meet with the Governor of Bahia concerning the FEELn festival.
